Our Teaching Philosophy
Engineering services and short courses for the aerospace industry
We seek to educate first, train second.
- Training = teaching people how to do something
- Education = helping people understand something, which is a prerequisite for doing it well
Our instructors are all either practicing or retired aerospace engineers.
- They have actually done (or experienced) what they teach!
- They are leaders in their fields
- They are effective communicators
We work with instructors to develop effective courses.
- Practical, useful information supported by examples and real-life experiences
- Course notes (we refer to them as "course books") that are understandable, complete, and concise, and that become useful references
- If a course doesn't meet our standards, we don't offer it!
We involve the class rather than simply lecture.
- Interactive teaching style
- Class problems
- Class size limited to 30
We are continually revising and improving our courses, yet we offer a fair price.
Our marketing approach is mainly word of mouth. Strategy:
- Provide a high-quality course
- Organizations will ask us back for more
- Other organizations will hear of us
We will help your organization establish an effective program or curriculum for continuing education and training.
- Identify needs
- Customize courses
- Find good courses other than the ones we offer
- Provide flexible teaching hours
- Explore alternative formats
